The report, published in June 2023, was based on based on qualitative interviews and quantitative survey data, highlighting 20 European specialist media owners including William Reed, and focussed on the innovations and trends driving each of the businesses selected. In addition to the 20 company profiles the report includes seven best practice tips from the 20 media owners, in-depth interviews with six specialist media leaders (including William Reed’s Chief Digital Officer John Barnes) and charts and analysis compiled from a survey of 56 European specialist media companies approach to both revenue models and investment priorities.
