Position

Position: Full time (35hr per week), 6-month FTC

Location: Crawley / Hybrid

Are you a highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for event coordination? Do you have excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in the wine and spirits industry?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Wine & Spirits Events Executive to join our Drinks Portfolio team on a 6-month fixed term basis, providing support in the execution and delivery of events and awards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Attending all events and supporting the team on site to ensure the event runs smoothly.
  • Liaising with event attendees.
  • Assisting with the organisation of transport for all attendees.
  • Communicating with attendees.
  • Updating and maintaining content of websites.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the recruitment and communication to the World’s Best Vineyard Academy Chair, voting panels and the set-up of the voting.
  • Organising guest lists and name badges for all events.
  • Liaising with venues on guest numbers and dietary requirements.
  • Mailing out any uncollected trophies, including filling in customs documents.
  • Liaising with warehouse and assist with logging of wines and spirits.
  • Taking the minutes at meetings.
  • Manage feedback survey and any follow ups.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Strong administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and event logistics efficiently.
  • Exceptional telephone manner, handling enquiries and communications with professionalism and confidence.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Keen interest in events, particularly in the wine and spirits sector, with a passion for delivering seamless experiences.
  • Confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, from event attendees to senior management, building strong professional relationships.
  • WSET qualification desirable but not essential.
