Are you an experienced / junior front end developer with digital marketing experience, looking for the opportunity of product ownership?

The Adobe Launch, Target & Analytics Developer will build on and utilise front end developer skills while taking technical ownership of and develop within best in breed enterprise level products within the digital marketing space.

The Adobe Launch, Target & Analytics Developer will have an opportunity to make their mark every day – through solving complex data and digital marketing challenges, varied javascript development and seeing their contributions make a positive impact across an international business.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the tracking of user behaviour on public-facing websites across multiple CMS’ using Adobe Launch tag management system, to provide data for use in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.

• Develop functionality by following internal development standards to include detailed design documentation, code, configuration, and other supporting technical documents

• Design and develop a structured global data layer to ensure accurate data collection.

• Maintain tracking updates to ensure Adobe Analytics remains up-to-date and accurate

• Use split testing tools like Adobe Target to deploy A/B tests and personalized experiences to improve user experience and key conversion goals

• Troubleshoot front end performance issues related to tagging and testing using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML.

Requirements

Our Adobe Launch, Target & Analytics Developer is expected to meet the capabilities as outlined in the four key areas of focus below:

• Tag Management – Regardless of the specific digital tag manager, the candidate should understand properties and the building blocks surrounding rule implementation (data elements, triggers/conditions, Launch events, actions) and the publishing flow. The candidate should be comfortable with the idea of tagging environments and understand how they are configured to capture data coming from different servers in the various report suites.

• Adobe Marketing Suite Administration – The candidate will need familiarity with report suites as well as analytics-based events, props, vars and all the associated attributes with those objects. The candidate will need to investigate issues involving more advanced concepts such as data feeds, marketing channel classifications, so any additional experience working with report suites would be extremely valuable.

• Reporting – The candidate should be fully capable of using ad hoc reporting to assist with QA or verify that tags are capturing data correctly. This means conceptual familiarity with metrics, dimensions, segmenting etc. The candidate will gain advanced level experience within the Adobe Reporting Workspace UI.

• Communication/Organization – The candidate must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with the business.
