We are actively seeking someone with social media experience and an international outlook to work across the 50 Best social landscape including The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, The World’s 50 Best Bars & The World’s 50 Best Hotels.
Working with a dedicated and passionate team, this is the ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, drink, travel and social media to work on a highly influential and international brand.

Alongside the Social Media Manager and Social Media Executives, you will play a key role in the growth, development, and day-to-day running of 50 Best’s social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Input into strategy for channels, campaigns, and events coverage
- Work with team to maintain and plan content calendars
- Proactively seek out conversations and stimulate or contribute to conversations
Scheduling/Publishing
- Upload and schedule posts
- Publish posts across social media (this may involve some evening and weekend work)
Events/Travel
- Live coverage and content creation at leading international events
- Assist in management of on-the-ground external photography and videography teams
Stat gathering and analysis
- Weekly gathering of social media statistics and analysis
- Compile and analyse campaign reports
Influencer programme
- Assist with management of our influencer programme: 50 Best TasteHunters
Admin/Other:
- Support Social Media Executives and Social Media Manager
- Assist with administration tasks for social and multimedia team
- Assist with gathering content from restaurants, bars, chefs and bartenders
- Put forward ideas to increase social media audience figures and engagement
- Contribute to creative ideation sessions as part of wider Content Team
- Brainstorm high-performing content and social media campaigns, working with the in-house partnerships team when necessary
Content creation
- Creating engaging and shareable content in 50 Best style, considering different tones of voice for each brand
- Copywriting and caption creation for text-first platforms
- Creation of social friendly graphics, short animations, and videos for visual-first platforms
- Assist in creation of video ideas and briefs. When necessary, managing video and photography crews
Community Management
- Monitor social channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, flagging and escalating anything significant
- Respond in a timely fashion to questions, comments and messages
Requirements
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a full-time social media role
- Experience working with popular social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Understanding of analytical metrics and key indicators in social media success, along with compiling reports and analysis of these statistics
- Experience of paid social advertising and boosting
- Experience working with influencers
- Solid written skills with a good grasp of grammar and spelling
- Confident working on different campaigns across multiple brands
- Creative, with an eye for detail
- Strong multi-tasking skills whilst still hitting deadlines. Organisation is key.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excited for international travel and exploring new cultures
- A love of food and drink, restaurants, and bars beneficial
- Experience using Canva, Spout Social, Photoshop and Premiere Pro an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes including Word and Excel, PowerPoint
