Position: Full time – Permanent (37.5hr per week)

Location: Singapore / Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Delegate Sales Executive based in Singapore to connect with clients and sell delegate passes across a portfolio of high growth B2B conferences in the agtech, food-tech and nutrition sectors across the globe.

With ambitious plans to grow our portfolio, this role will be critical in bringing in Asia-based delegates to our events both in the region, and in Europe and the Americas.

Working with the Delegate Sales Director and Regional Director for APAC, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business in APAC, and managing and building an extensive pipeline, for events including the Asia-Pacific Agri-Food Innovation Summit, the Growth Asia Summit, plus our Probiota and Sports and Active Nutrition series, among others.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Following up new business leads and enquiries, via phone, emails, MS Team meetings and LinkedIn
  • Identifying and account managing past multi-buyers and key customers
  • Building, operating and maintaining our sales database
  • Working closely with the marketing, business development, research, and operations teams
  • Joining weekly team meetings and feeding back intelligence from the market
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Asian ag, food and nutrition sectors and keeping up-to-date with market trends
  • Attending the summits in Asia and helping with the running of each event on the day

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Previous B2B Sales Experience, ideally with an international focus and selling to senior stakeholders
  • Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to speak Mandarin at a level of business proficiency is strongly desirable
  • Confident speaking to prospects at all levels of seniority
  • Natural curiosity and passion for sustainability
  • An international outlook and interest in current affairs
  • Experience using sales software such as Salesforce, Goldmine, ZoHo or similar software.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office

  • Health and dental insurance – eligible following three months of employment.
