We have offices in Gatwick and London, UK; Montpellier, France; Singapore and Chicago, US. In line with the Company’s current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our Crawley office and to work remotely for the rest of the week.

Position

Position: Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week)

Location: Crawley, West Sussex (min 2 days per week)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning publication The Morning Advertiser – the leading title for the pub and bar industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Write breaking news for www.morningadvertiser.co.uk
  • Contribute towards analysis and features also for online
  • Present, film/record and edit videos and audio stories
  • Use social media to engage with readers
  • Attend key events
  • Help to judge for the UK’s largest pub awards (The Great British Pub Awards and the Publican Awards)

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • An interest in food and drink and the wider pub sector
  • The ability to write high quality, engaging and informative news stories
  • A creative flair
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Efficiency & ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willing to work occasional evenings and travel to events
  • NTCJ qualification or equivalent experience
