Position

Do you have a passion for sales and marketing within the media landscape? We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Sales Account Executive to join our team, working with B2B clients to develop comprehensive marketing – digital media – event sponsorship campaigns that align with their business objectives.

As Media Sales Account Executive you will be selling digital media advertising space, F2F and interactive event sponsorship and content marketing solutions across our all-digital media brands focused on the nutrition, food, cosmetics, feed, agri-tech and cosmetics sectors.

Our award-winning B2Bjournalists continually create fresh, pertinent, and engaging multimedia news content that is supported by our advertisers – your clients. This role will include maintaining an existing portfolio of advertising business, as well as a key focus of bringing in new business via warm leads and self-acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing new industry categories and previously unidentified prospects.
  • Attending relevant industry trade shows and face to face events.
  • Maintaining and updating sales and client activities and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, strategic and tactical components in respect of established guidelines, rules and processes.
  • Daily sales outreach via online meetings / calls, digital communication and client visits.
  • Developing multiple points of contact and working towards key account management.
  • Maintaining a strong / measurable sales pipeline.
  • Contributing actively to the EMEA sales team and to broader brand development initiatives.
  • Openly sharing feedback on potential business opportunities and ideas.
  • Diligently maintaining the CRM.

Requirements

  • Digital media sales experience, B2B preferred. Market research and/or business events sales experience is also relevant.
  • Proven track record of managing accounts.
  • A consultative sales approach with a hunter’s drive.
  • Goal-orientated and able to work collaboratively within a larger team.

Other information

  • 25 days PTO (Every year approximately 4 days for use during the Christmas period)
  • 3 days of sick leave (which can also be used for extended bereavement leave or domestic emergencies)
