We have offices in Gatwick and London, UK; Montpellier, France; Singapore and Chicago, US. In line with the Company’s current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our London office and to work remotely for the rest of the week.

Position

Position: Full time (35hr per week), 12 month fixed term contract

Location: London / Hybrid

Or perhaps you have a few years of commercial content experience under your belt and are ready to take a step into a senior position at one of the biggest B2B media brands around?

If so, Retail Week is hiring for a new Commercial Content Lead- 12 months fixed term contract. If you like the sound of a fast paced environment producing thought-provoking content that engages retail leaders, this might be the job for you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the content strategy for Retail Week’s bespoke sponsored reports and live/virtual events under the Connect content marketing division.
  • Maintain Retail Week’s excellent standards of content quality across all campaigns
  • Write promotional features and edit in depth reports
  • Coach and mentor newer team members, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Act as deputy for the Director of Commercial Content when required.
  • Be the key liaison between sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring effective communication across teams.
  • Oversee the quality and delivery of all commercial content, maintaining Retail Week’s high standards across campaigns.
  • Driving innovation and identifying new and inspiring retail trends and opportunities for new reports and events
  • End to end project management of Retail Week’s in-depth reports and Connect events, including client breakfasts and boutique-style summits
  • Research topics that align with audience interests and collaborate with the sales team to make content commercially viable
  • Public-speaking opportunities, such as hosting panels at events.
  • Participate in sales calls to identify commercial opportunities and support new business development.

  • 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays- increasing by one additional day after 6 years, up to a maximum of 30 days.
