We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to work in our Chicago office, who can take responsibility for our websites and digital media products focused on the pharmaceutical sectors: Outsourcing-Pharma.com, in-PharmaTechnologist.com and BioPharma-Reporter.com.

Core responsibilities

  • Contribute to the commercial development of the Pharmaceutical media brands (Outsourcing-Pharma.com, in-PharmaTechnologist.com and BioPharma-Reporter.com) by discovering, researching, and qualifying new sales prospects
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets, strategic and tactical components in respect of established guidelines, rules and processes.
  • Reach KPI (Key Performance Indicators) standards as required  
  • Attend key trade events in the U.S. and occasionally beyond
  • Conduct client visits in the U.S.
  • Contribute to implementing strategies and action plans aimed at increasing and diversifying revenues.
  • Develop deep strategic relationships with key clients
  • Provide leadership for the pharmaceuticals groups in market
  • Provide regular and detailed reporting as required
  • Maintaining updated CRM 

Required experience and skills

  • Previous sales experience, digital media B2B sales preferred
  • Proven track record of managing complex accounts
  • A consultative sales approach
  • Target-orientated and able to work collaboratively within a team
