We currently have a position for a Marketing Manager to join our Exhibitions team.
Our exhibitions department is a progressive and growing area of the business. The shows are market-leading events and are well respected in their sectors, our exhibitors find them an invaluable networking opportunity where they can meet the entire industry.
The responsibility and focus of a Marketing Manager is to develop marketing strategies including digital marketing strategies, to meet agreed company objectives, in order to deliver consistent promotional communication to ensure that the right quality and quantity of visitors and exhibitors attend the event.
Duties include:
Planning
- Writes clear marketing plans with timelines and ensures they are kept up to date and actioned within deadlines
- Initiate market research
- Propose and implement ideas to enhance the profile and profitability of products
Internal relationships
- Liaise and co-ordinate activity with the operations, sales, ad production, multi media and publishing teams as relevant
- Devise ex prom plans in conjunction with show manager/event director and excute accordingly
Market Knowledge
- Read WRBM and 3rd party publications relevant to the market
- Engage with the market and effectively utilise and share knowledge across the team
- Demonstrate full product knowledge and effective use of this knowledge in ex prom and vis prom activity
- Successfully target the key visitor groups
